Monarto Safari Resort General Manager Andreas Huck said every detail of Wild Tea had been thoughtfully crafted to create an experience that was both elegant and distinctly local.
“Overlooking the expansive landscapes of Wild Africa, guests are invited to relax, indulge and connect while taking in uninterrupted views of roaming wildlife,” Mr Huck said.
“Whether you’re marking a special occasion or simply embracing a slower pace, Wild Tea offers a memorable afternoon of exceptional cuisine, warm hospitality and the unforgettable beauty of the wild.”
The tiered stand arrives brimming with a playful fusion of South African and South Australian fare: fragrant Cape Malay chicken and zesty curried egg sandwiches sit alongside delicate mushroom duxelles, classic cucumber, and fig and brie, while golden bitter ballen with black garlic aioli and smoked salmon and cream cheese puffs add a savoury indulgence. On the sweet side, house-made scones with Chantilly cream and jam share the stand with delicate macarons, syrup-soaked koeksisters, creamy mini milk tarts and rich brownies – a spread designed to delight every palate, with generous gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian options throughout.
Perhaps toast the occasion with a glass of sparkling or Champagne alongside a pot of the resort’s signature Serengé-T, while younger guests enjoy their own special menu, making Wild Tea the perfect experience for families, friends and celebrations of all kinds.
